Dojo Village is only as good as its members.

After talking to some of our members and making new friends, I know we are on track to make Dojo Village a Great Success.

Dojo Village has a Ranking system that is based on points.  We all start as “White Belts” again and earn points to increase our Rank.  The ranking is simple; you will get your “Gold Belt” when you reach 5000 points and your “Orange Belt” at 15000 points and so on.

Q. So how do you make points? 

A.  Simple, just participating in the site makes points.  
      You basically earn points for everything you do on the site. 
      You get points for starting an album and uploading pics, uploading music,
      starting a group, joining a group and talking on the Forum just to name a few.

The single fastest way to get points is to invite people and (they need to open an account) get new members.

For every person that signs up and sends me a message that you invited them I will give you 500 points Bonus per person.
Remember, they need to send me a Personal Message (PM) for me to give you credit.

Clearly for someone that has a lot of friends or students.....very easy to get people to sign up!

Note: You will be able to use your points to purchase Dojo Village gear in the site store.  The site store is currently under construction.

We also have a recognition ranking for the "Forum Only."  A belt will be displayed next to your avatar that would say for example, “White Belt Poster”.   This is a ranking system for the forum only so other forum posters can see who contributes most etc...
Eventually I will be selecting Moderators to run and (I hate to use this word: POLICE) the Forum when it gets big enough.
I am working on getting special Insignia for The Moderators so people can easily tell who they are.
It has been my observation in other sites that some people unfortunately just use the Forum, That's OK.
I want to give recognition to the senior people that post consistently.  That’s why when you start using the forum you will receive a belt that displays in the forum only.

Note: Posting in the Forum is also making points to the total Ranking.
